Bring a Friend!
The Great South Bay Quilters Guild is a non-profit quilting guild located on the south shore of Long Island in Suffolk County, New York. The purpose of the Guild is
to preserve the heritage of quilting, promote cooperation and exchange of ideas about quilting, further the education and skill levels of the members, share the spirit of
friendship, and contribute to the welfare of the community. We are a group of quilting enthusiasts, from beginner to expert, who believe in sharing this beautiful craft
with others. Over the years we have donated thousands of quilts to a variety of organizations including veterans' groups, nursing homes, women's shelters and
hospitals.
Meetings are held once a month at the Joyce Fitzpatrick Senior Center at Brookwood Hall, Irish Lane in East Islip. The guild hosts workshops, nationally recognized
teachers and lecturers, trunk shows, and tutorials.
We welcome quilters of all ages and skill levels. Come join us for fun and educational meetings spent with quilters who love to share their talents... and bring a friend!
