Ladies,
We hope this finds you all safe and healthy. The March Guild Meeting is CANCELLED (3/25/2020) for many reasons, the main one being your health and well being. We hope that you will appreciate the time you now have to complete many of the UFO's that are just waiting to be finished. We do not know, at this time, when the Senior Center will reopen or when the state will lift the rules for gatherings of more than 10 people (even in your homes), but we will stay in touch through emails and the website.
Thank you for your understanding and patience and we look forward to the time when this is all past and we can once again enjoy just getting out together.
Please stay well and healthy,
The Great South Bay Quilters Guild is a non-profit quilting guild located on the south shore of Long Island in Suffolk County, New York. The purpose of the Guild is
to preserve the heritage of quilting, promote cooperation and exchange of ideas about quilting, further the education and skill levels of the members, share the spirit of
friendship, and contribute to the welfare of the community. We are a group of quilting enthusiasts, from beginner to expert, who believe in sharing this beautiful craft
with others. Over the years we have donated thousands of quilts to a variety of organizations including veterans groups, nursing homes, women's shelters and
hospitals.
Meetings are held once a month at the Joyce Fitzpatrick Center, Brookwood Hall, 50 Irish Lane, East Islip, NY. The guild hosts workshops, nationally recognized
teachers and lecturers, trunk shows, and tutorials.
